LiDAR Shines the Way
This zero collision vision will be spearheaded by LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging)
and an AI-driven super-computer which will come standard in the next generation electric flagship, the Volvo EX90. This system is more accurate than those using cameras or radar which allows for improved object detection. LiDAR enables Volvo vehicles to see potential problems before they become problems. It is capable of seeing pedestrians up to 250 meters away, even when driving at highway speeds.
